Hi everyone! My name is Elena Kreiner and I am a senior here at Rocky studying business management and communication studies! I'll graduate in May with degrees in both, and from there I have no idea what I'm doing so please don't ask because I will cry!
I grew up in southeastern Montana near the Wyoming and South Dakota borders with my parents and grandparents. I'm now a resident of Yellowstone County and live with my rescue dog, Coko, and my boyfriend. I work at the best coffee shop in town, The Annex, and I tutor and mentor here on campus. In my free time I love to run, write, and be outdoors. I'm also involved with Rocky's theater arts department and love to act in and put on productions.
I'm a little nervous taking this class because I have very little experience with photography aside from taking pictures with my smartphone camera. However, I'm hoping to learn a little bit so that when my mom recovers from hip surgery this fall that we can go out together and shoot, as photography is one of her favorite hobbies. I'm hoping to learn all the camera lingo (I hear "dslr" and get a little scared) and make the most of this class!
